We primarily use professional XRF analysis to check the metal composition and purity of your items. XRF testing is normally non-invasive.
Plated, filled or unusual items may require additional testing to confirm their true gold content. We will explain this where relevant.
Can I watch my items being tested?
Live testing is available so you can watch your items being professionally assessed before deciding whether to accept the final offer.
Is the online calculator estimate guaranteed?
No. The calculator provides an estimate using live gold pricing and the carat and weight entered by you. Your final offer is confirmed after we professionally weigh and test the items.
Calculate your estimated payoutHow is my final offer calculated?
Your final offer is based on the confirmed weight, tested purity and the applicable payout rate locked when your parcel is received and testing begins.
Do I have to accept the offer?
No. Every offer is completely no obligation. You can review the final amount after testing and choose whether to accept or decline it.
What happens if I decline the offer?
Your items will be returned to you. Your original postage cost will not be reimbursed and you will be responsible for the cost of returning the items to your address.
