Posting & safety

What posting service should I use?
We strongly recommend Royal Mail Special Delivery and selecting the correct insurance cover for your parcel’s value. Use a tamper-proof envelope where possible.
Where do I send my parcel?
You’ll see our PO Box address on the Get Paid page with a “Copy address” button.
Should I include anything inside the parcel?
Yes — include your name and email inside the parcel so we can identify it quickly. If you have it, include your tracking number in the form.

Testing & offers

How do you test gold?
We primarily test using XRF machines (non-invasive). In some cases, we may need to file or cut items to confirm purity — only where necessary.
Is the online estimate guaranteed?
The estimate is a guide based on live market prices. Your final offer is confirmed after testing carat/purity and weight.
What if I don’t accept the offer?
If you decline, we can return your items. A £15 return fee applies to cover testing and return postage.

Payment

When do I get paid?
Once you accept the offer, we pay by UK bank transfer the same day (during banking hours).
Do I have to give bank details upfront?
No. You can provide sort code and account number later after accepting. The form allows you to include them upfront if you prefer.
